Online Feature with Whim Magazine

I think it's safe to say I was majorly excited when I received an email from the Whim editor to tell me I'd be featured as a photographer to watch on their online blog. 
This was definitely one of my most favourite shoots that they featured along with a small interview and review of my images.

Horse Sense

Today we photographed the lovely Tilly Gray in a beautiful rural setting in Londonderry, Western Sydney in the paddocks of a local farm. Went off to a jumpy start with the horse (Bella) being a bit jumpy with a new rider, and then fidgety with the constant flies; but the photographs are coming out beautifully.

Thankyou to Naomi Sprod, my in house H/MUA for her perfect hair and make up as always, your work was stunning and suited the garments perfectly :)
Definitely another successful shoot.

Fragments of Winfred - S a r a h L o u Designs

Flashback: Last year I photographed this beautiful dress designed by a very talented designer who graduated at the end of 2012. This set was the single moment that made me realise how much I wanted to pursue fashion photography. 

Since that moment I've worked with a lot of up and coming models, and H/MUA's, mainly styling my own shoots - but hoping to collaborate with up and coming Designers and Stylists in the near future.

I'm truly loving the journey that photography is taking me on; and I can't wait to see where I end up :)

Black Swan

Small flashback to a small previous shoot I did inspired by the movie Black Swan.
I loved the dark nature and themes in this film, and how well the main character's psyche and paranoia was portrayed. The make-up for it was inspiring.

Hollywood

Today I had the pleasure to work with another lovely model for a Hollywood inspired shoot. This set was amazing - and the variety in clothing worked so well. I loved how we worked a transition of traditional classy Hollywood into a more gritty Lingerie' based Hollywood. The collection came out exquisite.

Thankyou to Naomi Sprod for her exceptional Hair and Make-up and Sabrina Brandon for her wonderful modelling. All in all, a successful shoot today :)

Doll Dizzy

Sunday just gone I shot a series inspired by Ellen Von Unwerth's work - Her images in a way have a somewhat gritty feel to them, yet shot In a classy way; really reflecting the vintage lifestyle. I chose to mix her inspired work with the film clip of Robin Thicke's BLURRED LINES with a more elegant feel.

It was a long day of shooting, starting with hair and make up at 9am and wrapping up close to 4pm in the afternoon, with alternate outfit changes and make up touch ups; but all in all it came together to be a rather successful collection.

Thankyou to all the models involved: Tilly Gray, Sara Konarzewski, Ashleigh Hockley, Gemma Denham, Michael Joseph Abrahams & Nathan Lee you all did amazing; as well as my fantastic MUA Naomi Sprod for her wonderful efforts with the make up.
